A long, all-white wooden deck, like a hanging corridor, with wooden tables and fancy chairs extends along the sea. Huge white umbrellas, like heavenly hugs, provide the necessary shade while perimetrically, flower beds are planted with colorful flowers. On the one side, the standing glass windows of H2O, and on the other side, the Aegean Sea majestically spreading out. The cosmopolitan Halicarnassus emerges in the background and up in the sky the clouds follow their own routes. Since May 2005, when it opened its doors at the same time as «Kos Aktis Art Hotel», H2O immediately became the favorite spot of locals and tourists, as well as the reference point for the gastronomy of Kos. Located at a privileged location in the city center and open all year round, from early morning until late at night, it hosts people throughout the day. In the morning, for quality coffee and a delicious Greek breakfast with fresh ingredients, for a lunch break with ouzo and appetizers accompanied with the sound of waves, and for dinner offering original recipes that harmoniously combine local cuisine with international trends.
Year after year, H2O continues to evolve as a dynamic culinary destination, seamlessly blending the rich gastronomic traditions of the Dodecanese with modern influences to create an unforgettable dining experience. At our restaurant, we emphasize the use of indigenous ingredients, proudly featuring locally sourced olive oil, krasotyri cheese, and a range of dairy products. Our menu also highlights delectable desserts, honey, and herbs from Kos, alongside select ingredients from neighboring islands.
