Sakis Kalliotzis
Born and raised in Thessaloniki, Sakis Kalliontzis showcased a special affinity and love for cooking from an early age. After his studies at the Thessaloniki School of Tourism Professions, he worked with a number of renowned restaurants and hotels in Greece and abroad, culminating in his presence at Alfredo's restaurant at the Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki, where he won the prestigious "Golden Hat" award for 7 consecutive years.
In 2024, he accepts the proposal of VP Legacy Group CEO Nikos Pouliou and takes over as the Group's Executive Chef. His philosophy emphasises exceptional raw materials, seasonality and local products, elements that he masterfully marries in recipes that focus on Mediterranean cuisine, artfully enriched with elements of the Japanese and Nikkei cuisine. The chef and his team often revise the menu based on the season and availability of ingredients, making each visit a journey of discovering unique, fresh flavours.
